Terms and Conditions

 Booking timeframe and booking fee (deposit)

  • This contract is confirmation of an agreement between the Client and Eat Sweet. This is deemed to have been accepted if a written objection is not received within 10 days of the date of this agreement or if it is issued less than 28 days before the engagement date (“a Late Booking”) is deemed accepted if no written objection has been made within 4 days from the date of this issue.


  •    The booking fee is payable within 10 working days from the contract issue date (or upon signature and acceptance of these terms in the case of a Late Booking). Agreement will only be considered confirmed upon receipt of signed contract, signed by the named client and the booking fee received and cleared.

  • The booking fee is wholly non-refundable.


Deposit and balance payment should be paid by BACS.

A £50 non-refundable deposit is payable upon booking to secure your date. This will be deducted from your total balance. The outstanding balance is due one week prior to your event.

Cancellation
In the event of a cancellation on the part of the Client, a cancellation fee will be due, calculated as follows:

If notice is received 60 days or more before the event date, then 50% of the balance must be paid no later than one week after cancellation notice is received.

If notice is received between 59 and 0 days before the event date, then 100% of the balance must be paid no later than one week after cancellation notice is received.

  

If you cancel your order, then it must be done in writing and Eat Sweet must acknowledge receipt of this.


If for any unforeseen reason Sweet Cart Hire is forced to cancel your order, then you will be notified by email and all deposits and payments made will be refunded in full.

Amendments

Any amendments to the signed contract must be mutually agreed and may incur an additional fee.

We reserve the right to substitute supplied confectionary.


Sweet Cart Set up

 It is the clients responsibility to seek permission from the venue and to ensure there is sufficient space for the sweet cart in advance of the event date


The dimensions of the cart are:

Width - 62cm

Length - 125cm

Full height when assembled - 172cm


Once the sweet cart is set up it can only be moved by a representative of Eat Sweet. No modifications are to be made to the cart decoration, content or confectionary by the client.

The Client authorises the use of photos and videos taken by Eat Sweet of the client and guests at the venue for promotional purposes.

Any damage to the sweet carts will incur a fee. Missing or damaged items will be charged at the full replacement value.

Allergies

Please be advised that some sweets may contain or have traces of nuts or nut oils, they may also have been in contact with products and sweets containing nuts. Eat Sweet cannot be held responsible for any issues resulting from food allergies. Clients should ensure that young children are supervised at all times.

All allergies and dietary requirements must be raised in advance of the event date.
